Fernando De Florenca started fishing at 14 years of age on the Aurora Australias with his father Daniel. The boat was skippered and owned by Mick Rotondella. At age 20 he became an owner/operator of his first boat the Silva which he half owned with business partner Rocco Katnich. At the age of 22 he bought Miss Rosalba and after his father died, he renamed the boat Bom Daniel. The trilogies of Bom Daniel’s soon followed, with all having a central role in the families fishing affairs.
